Jean-Philippe Chauvin is the R&D Manager for the Thiochemicals R&D group of Arkema Inc. He joined Arkema’s Thiochemicals group in 2019 after completing his Ph.D. in Chemistry with Prof. Derek A Pratt at the University of Ottawa, working on mechanistic investigations of antioxidant activity of organosulfur compounds. At Arkema, his research area focuses on new process developments, process improvements, and plant support topics related to production of organosulfur chemicals at industrial scale. JP has served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Sulfur Chemistry since 2022.
